Departure of the Liberation Day procession

A few days after its liberation, Rosheim decides to celebrate the event in style. Women in Alsatian costume, music groups, soldiers of the 2nd armored division in cantonment, children… The whole population comes together to form a gigantic procession to mark the relief at the end of this sad Nazi period.

The procession passes through the town, stopping for a festive moment on the Place of the Town Hall. The day concludes with dancing.
