Troops of the 2nd DB
stationed at Rosheim

Before returning to combat and resuming the offensive after Operation Nordwind, the troops of the 2nd French armored division are stationed in Rosheim.

Here we can see a famous Willys MB Jeep supplied by the American army, with a lady from Rosheim, Emilie Lehn, at the wheel. Her sister, a schoolteacher, Marguerite Lehn has left us some very detailed accounts of this period in history.
